Teachers watched expert educators model lessons before stepping in front of their peers to practice their own during Launch Day, the official kickoff of the 2026-27 school year.
The two-day event enabled the entire instructional team to gather in the same space and learn the skills and mindsets that will strengthen their instruction. The goal was to ensure teachers were ready to maximize students’ learning this year.
Launch Day began with an inspiring keynote speech from Beemok Education President Josh Bell about the schools’ incredible impact on students and record-setting growth. Chief Academic Officer Nisha Vasavada shared the instructional journey of the schools as well as this year’s focus on an ownership mindset.
Teachers also had the opportunity to hear from Meeting Street Schools Founder Ben Navarro, who shared his gratitude for educators and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
