Join us for an inspiring evening on May 14 as Dr. William Keyes shares the transformative lessons at the heart of his book, The Stories They Hear: Expecting Greatness as the Key to Success, during this special event co-hosted by Meeting Street Schools, Buxton Books and BHC.
Dr. Keyes founded the Institute of Responsible Citizenship, which has empowered more than 300 of America’s best and brightest African American male college students. Institute alumni have become Rhodes Scholars, Fulbright Scholars, doctors, professors, pastors and community leaders.
Guests will hear Dr. Keyes reflect on the stories he shares with the Institute’s scholars, touching on themes of mentorship, leadership and resilience. This event promises to be inspirational and valuable for anyone invested in unlocking students’ potential for success.
Doors of The Riviera open at 5 p.m. on May 14, and the conversation begins at 6 PM. A book signing will follow the conversation.
