Why Be a Teaching Fellow?
Teaching Fellows is a highly selective, two-year program for ambitious college graduates to build the skills and mindset of exceptional educators and future leaders.
Fellows build leadership skills by co-teaching classrooms of under-resourced students, and they’re supported with ongoing and effective training.
This program is a two-year commitment. An education degree isn’t required; college graduates of any major are encouraged to apply.
Application Timeline
Applications open for our 2027-28 cohort on Oct. 1!
- PRIORITY APPLICATION WINDOW: If you apply by Nov. 1, offers are extended by Dec. 1
- If you apply by Jan. 4, 2027, offers are extended by Feb. 12, 2027.
- If you apply by Feb. 22, 2027, offers are extended by March 31, 2027.
- After March 31, 2027, applications are accepted on a rolling basis

Every school has multiple Teaching Fellows, creating a community of peers who understand the same challenges and wins.
Incentives
Fellows can earn performance awards of up to $60,000 in addition to their base salaries.
