At Meeting Street Elementary – Burns’ Signing Day, fifth graders celebrated their acceptance to selective middle schools. This year marked two milestone for the school: Brandon Estrada Posadas became the first Burns student to earn a full scholarship to Porter-Gaud School and Neria Swinton became the first Burns student to earn acceptance to Charleston School of the Arts.
